Paekākāriki-based former Footnote NZ Dance dancer and emerging choreographer Georgia Beechey is embarking upon her latest adventure in dance – directing the collaborative dance work Wisdom of Waters.
As a dancer Georgia has been described as “genuinely mesmerising” (Theatreview) who “effortlessly steals the show with her attack and speed” (Theatre Scenes), and Human Dance is proud to support her transition into choreography.
Georgia leads Speaking Spines, an all-female collective based in Pōneke/ Wellington. A team of 11 multi-disciplinary artists have come to together to collaborate on this creation.
