We are so ridiculously excited to bring the first ever Pride Youth Ball to the Kāpiti coast!
This event has been organised by and for young Rainbow folks in partnership with Kāpiti College, the Queer Straight Alliance (QSA) and Paekākāriki Pride. If you’re aged between 13 and 17 years and want to dress up and come out to a safe, inclusive and fun space with a band, a DJ, snacks and… wait for it…. MOCKTAILS! Then this is the event for you.
The theme is ‘Dress to Impress – Fun and Funky’, so it’s a chance to dust off those costumes, outfits and fabulous threads and to yassify yourself.
This is an alcohol, smoke and vape-free zone. There’ll be a quiet/chill space, a photo booth, and we’ll have a yassification station with glitter, make-up and accessories to make you feel fabulous. Doors open at 7pm and we guarantee there’ll be something for everyone. Allies are welcome.
