Nāda yoga workshop

May 9 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Nāda Yoga is an ancient Indian system that uses sound vibrations like chanting and mantra. Nāda yoga and chanting Sanskrit mantra in particular, stimulates the meridians of the tongue which helps to strengthen the immune and neurological systems and helps balance the energy centres of the body.
Over time, practicing Nāda yoga will allow a deeper awareness of the body, calm the mind and connect you to a higher consciousness.
In this workshop, Sascha will guide you through breath work and explore the potential of sound, voice and vibration within the body and its energy fields. You will work with asanas, bija sounds, chakra toning and mantra.
From this workshop you will:
– Align all of your chakras, bringing more balance both mentally and physically to the body.
– Experience calming and grounding.
– Be able to communicate more authentically (as we specifically work with the throat chakra).
– Get in touch with your emotional body.
– Release tension held in the body.
– Open the voice, creating more free flowing sound and resonance.
– Go further with your yoga practice in a holistic way working with physical, mental, emotional and spiritual energies of the body.
