NAIROBI TRIO
Nairobi trio have been described as New Zealand’s favourite Jazz entertainers. With thirty five years
touring and performing in New Zealand and across the globe, Nairobi trio deliver an entertaining
and engaging live show. Dozens of concert tours of Scandinavia and appearances at the Edinburgh
International Jazz Festival and numerous New Zealand and Australian tours, their breadth of
repertoire and professional approach to every performance is a hallmark of the trio’s success. The
band has recorded 10 albums to date. Always playing to the crowd, the musical program includes
skillfully crafted original material, reimagined standards as well as popular repertoire that will
please a range of settings – all delivered in their inimitable style.
Nairobi Trio are Richard Adams (Violin/ vocals), John Quigley (Guitar/ vocals) and Aaron Codell
