Open Day at Paekākāriki Community Orchard

10am-2pm on Saturday 18 June at the Community Gardens.
Join us for a fun filled learning day at the orchard – composting, pruning and whanaugatanga over a cuppa and kōrero.
About this event:
Come along, see what we are about and meet some of the volunteer crew. There will be guided tours of the fruit tree plantings, and a winter fruit pruning demonstration at 12:00.
It’s also a chance to check out Paecycle Compost, see our systems in action and even take home some free worms.
A cuppa and some refreshments will also be on hand.
