When Books Become Words – a Celebratory Discussion

July 24 @ 5:00 pm

FREE

5pm Saturday 24 July at the Paekākāriki Bowling Club

FREE

To celebrate this year’s Paekākāriki Book Fair you are invited to gather with refreshments for a free friendly discussion with village writers about getting writing into print.

Chaired by Mark Amery, editor and publisher (Brokered Dreams, RNZ) the discussion features novelist Jenny Pattrick (The Denniston Rose and Heart of Coal), poet Maria McMillan (Tree Space and The Ski Flier VUP), writer and publisher Michael O’Leary (local history and Earl of Seacliff Press), Rob Hack, poet (Everything is Here, Elevator Press) and romance writer Anna Hudson.

The event is free but the bar will be open and (naturally) books will be on display and for sale. Brought to you by the Paekākāriki Community Trust.
