Another film about a heroic and inspiring woman, this is an incredibly moving portrait of life in Gaza during the Israeli military campaign, centred on courageous Palestinian photojournalist Fatima Hassouna. Among the myriad crises that have since happened around the world, the voice of Palestine is still one that must be heard and not forgotten.
There will be a stall with edible and non-edible items for sale – proceeds to Paekakariki for Palestine group.

An enduring classic and landmark film that stands as one of the best films of the nineties, it’s a fierce feminist celebration packaged into a wildly entertaining road movie starring Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon. (M Violence & offensive language)
