Paekākāriki Walking Group

9.30am Monday 4 November – meet at Wai Ata Studio, north end of Tilley Rd

We had our first walk onTuesday 22 Oct. The goal was to find out what the group might look like, and its aspirations. After introductions, we walked for an hour on the QE Park cycle trail, chatting and making new friends.

The next walk will be on Monday 4th November, at 9.30 am. Meet at the end of Tilley Rd, by Wai Ata Studio, The Weaver’s Cottage, and we will walk for up to 90 minutes. If that seems a little long, there will be an opportunity to turn back earlier.

I know there are more prospective walkers out there, and it may take a few weeks of listening to finalise the model. With those present, Mondays is the popular choice, and weekly the popular frequency, hence the choice for the next walk (excluding Labour Weekend).

I want to hear from you if you are interested, so if this time does not suit, and you can’t come, please contact me with what you can do, and would like to see. Eventually we will settle on a model, satisfying the majority, and may include different days and times for different weeks.
