Revelation Valley – Lisa Maule and Michelle Scullion
Lisa Maule brings her collection of original poetry to the stage in this playful and thought-provoking performance celebrating creativity, curiosity and the everyday. The performance of Revelation Valley is proudly presented as part of the TAHI NZ Festival of Solo performance 2026. With live music by Kāpiti-based composer Michelle M Scullion, the show is an experience with lots of different flavours and runs for about 60 minutes.
The humorous and heartfelt poems in Revelation Valley wander from a ‘capitalist stapler’ and the need to pee, to the winding hills of wellington and traces of ancient trees.
Embrace unexpected laughs, moments of reflection, and a fresh perspective on the world around you.
Lisa Maule is an award-winning theatre designer, creative producer and emerging poet. Best known for her work as a lighting designer, she has contributed to Aotearoa’s performing arts sector for more than 35 years, working across theatre, education, festivals and major events.
