Spectators are welcome at any time at the club when members are flying. There is a good vantage point on the slope running up behind the club house. If you have children with you, please make sure they do not wander off. Strictly no dogs.

Kāpiti Aeromodellers Club

Kāpiti Aeromodellers’ Club operates from Queen Elizabeth ParModelflyingNZ_colourk, some 5 km south of Paraparaumu and 35 minutes from Wellington. The club was formed as a not-for-profit Incorporated Society in 1995 and today has in excess of 100 members.

How to get there:
From South – traveling on State Highway 1, 3km North of Paekakariki, turn off at Mackays crossing, signposted to Queen Elizabeth Park. Turn left, cross the railway lines and enter the park. Follow the road through almost to the beach. Look for a turnoff right across the tram tracks. The tramway crossing is 1.5km from the gate. Look for the ‘Beware of Trams’ sign at tramway post #51..
