Paekākāriki FM

Paekākāriki 88.2FM is a volunteer run radio station of remarkable diversity and musical taste produced for the community by the community, where-ever they are in the world. You can listen at www.paekakariki.fm. Or download our app from your app store

We air 8am-11pm daily on 88.2FM and stream on the internet with thanks to Groundtruth here where you’ll also find an up to the hour schedule of what’s playing.

We have close to 40 different shows hosted by Paekākāriki residents, that run from sound art and punk to jazz and country, and much to surprise you in-between. Included is our daily (12noon and 6pm) community show Te Pae and Paekākāriki School Radio Club, broadcasting from the former dental clinic in Paekākāriki School’s grounds where we’re proud to support the development of our future broadcasters.

We are always appreciative of new members, both to present radio shows, work with our tamariki and to also help out. Get in touch: [email protected].
