Predator Free Paekākāriki – got a trap?

Predator Free Paekākāriki traps rodents and records the results. They need your help to do this – you could even win $30 worth of goodies from Paekākāriki Fruit Supply. Maree White and Amelia Geary update us on Predator Free Paekākāriki’s latest trapping news from around the village and their upcoming event.

Welcome to all those who have recently bought traps and joined the crew since our last update – it’s great to have you with us!

In the last year we have distributed 60 new tunnel trap packages around the village and are closing in on total of 100 since June 2020. Great work team. If you or any of your neighbours are still needing a trap, fill in this form and we will sort them out.

To have any chance at ridding our village of rodents, and to ensure sufficient coverage, we need to have active traps in every 1 in 5 properties across Paekākāriki. From the information we have, we are sitting at about 1 in 10, so we’re halfway there

A massive thanks to Jono from the Paekākāriki Fruit Supply for stocking our FREE peanut butter bait. Please swing by and pick some up if you’re running low. Thanks again to Fix & Fogg in Wellington for donating a constant peanut butter supply.
