On Saturday/Sunday 16/17 March Kapiti Aeromodellers is holding its annual public flying rally at their flying field at Queen Elizabeth Park. Our website shows how to access the model flying field in QE Park.

Flying commences at 10am both days, but is dependent on the weather.

Small model balsa planes will be given away to the first 100 children who attend.

There is an onsite cafe operating at lunchtime where sausages and cold drinks can be purchased. An onsite toilet is available for public use. Car parking is also available onsite.

This is a great opportunity for children and adults to see a range of radio controlled model planes operating.
