Pātaka Kai – Sharing Pantry
Thanks for all the contributions/donations and voluntary labour, in particular builder Ash Richardson and artist Megan Salole who made this possible.
The Pātaka Kai – Sharing Pantry has now been installed at the lay-by of Wellington Road (around 59-69).
This is a Paekākāriki community pantry for sharing where all are invited to ‘Give what you can, and take what you need’ (for yourself or your Paekākāriki friends or neighbours).
We would love you to put up a post if you are sharing abundance from your garden that is perishable, or contact one of us.
