Bill Lake makes a welcome return to Paekākāriki as a trio with bassist Steve Hemmens (Mammal) and Alan Norman (The Warratahs, Rag Poets) on accordion.

Special guests: New Wellington duo SHAN featuring Shan Jordan and Giacomo Caleffi (The Julie Lamb Outfit).

Guitarist, singer and songwriter Bill Lake is one of New Zealand’s most respected and long-serving practitioners.

He has led the fabulous Windy City Strugglers, as well as playing with pioneering rock group Mammal in the 70s and fronting brassy funk-rockers The Pelicans in the 1980s.

His iconic songs have been covered by Midge Marsden, Darren Watson, Kokomo, Rag Poets and Marg Layton.

SHAN present a mix of original singer/songwriting with an energetic guitar and electronic backbone. If you like Kate Bush Bic Runga or Sia, SHAN provides vocal melodies that have the power to emulate both.
