An event every 2 weeks that begins at 5:00 pm on Sunday, repeating indefinitely
Dari’s Kitchen is a new takeaway food service from cook Helen Keivom, a native of Manipur, India, and a long-time Paekākāriki local.
Starting Sunday 17th September, the fortnightly pre-order takeaway service runs out of St Peter’s Village Hall on Beach Rd.
- Pick-up from St Peters Hall Kitchen via the deck between 5-7pm or by prior arrangement

Helen’s home-style curries are quite different from the usual Indian restaurant fare and informed by the fresh, tribal flavours she grew up with. Dari’s Kitchen is named after Helen’s late mother who was a renowned cook.
- Fresh, healthy, homestyle dishes cooked with North-East Indian flair
